  • WTB: Stock Passat exhaust and suspension

    Hey everyone,

Looking for the stock exhaust (flex pipes back preferred, but cat back is fine as well) for a 2001 Passat Wagon V6 with 4Motion. From what I can gather (please correct me if I am wrong) any B5 passat (98-2002) with the V6 and 4Motion will work for me. FOUND

Also looking for the stock suspension to take it back to stock height. From what I know (and again, please correct me if I am wrong) it has to be stock wagon suspension (as the wagon is slightly heavier then the sedan).

I have already checked pick and pull off glenmore but no dice (only one wagon, but had 1.8T and messed up suspension (looked like someone cut the springs))

PM me if you happen to have this laying around and are willing to sell, or know of a lead.

    Thanks guys.

    Brad

I dont know. Something with no mufflers. It is true dual to the rear. I think the guy just straight piped it but have not had a chance to crawl under it yet and get a good look.

I was going to worry about selling the aftermarket exhaust once I was back to stock.

So not to take away from the purpose of this thread but you bought the car just to flip it?

Nope. I am taking it out to BC next month. Plan on putting north of 2000 km on it, and enjoying it for this trip. Then it is being sold to my sister and brother in-law. So I bought it with the intention of keeping it in the family.

When I said "I was going to worry about selling it once I was back to stock." I was talking about the aftermarket exhaust that I have on the vehicle. I fixed the post above.
