Parting out a 2003 Blue Jetta GLI 6sp with 190,000kms on it (US model).
Car is running well, VR6 24V, 6sp manual trans, shifts good, no problem. Car is driveable, no issue. Drove it for about 400 miles since I got it, sounds nice and pulls well. Everything is working in the car beside the sunroof, nothing else broken.
As now, everything is available.
Engine run well, can be driven and compression test can be done at the same time. New NGK factory spark plugs, oil (Castrol 5W40) and filter ($180 value).
Might not part out the engine itself (wiring, Ecu, starter....) so it is ready for a swap and everything needed will be included. $700
6sp manual 02M trans with everything needed for a swap, new slave cylinder ($180 with receipt) $700
(not sure what to include, axles (1 is new), shifter with cables, ..... you tell me!)
Engine and trans swap together $1200 firm (again, can go for a test drive to test them!)
Make offer for the rest:
Body is ok, both fenders and both passenger side doors are good.
Hood, trunk, bumpers, driver side doors not really nice, small damage on them (mainly hail damage), no front grill.
Projector headlight (Hid bulbs and ballast included but not working, not sure why, no time to look at).
Newer front rotors and pads.
2 sets of taillights.
Electric heated rear view mirrors.
17" Rims in ok condition, 1 winter left on tires, no caps $350
Seats are gone.
