So after much thinking of getting rid of Heidi and buying something newer, I decided to keep her for a long while yet. Yes she has some dings and some other imperfections but she's still very fun. So power and cosmetic upgrades will be coming down the line. No real changes this year apart from adding some bike carriers for some summer mountain fun!

Yes! It wouldn't be the same if Heidi was gone. So glad you're keeping her.

I know that struggle, the A3 nearly left me but is staying around for awhile now... needs some cosmetic work for sure, poor front end sandblasted by Alberta roads.

Glad you are keeping it Rod!

                                Thanks guys!

Will be in this weekend if I have time...probably not though as my personal time has been greatly reduced lol...

I did also change my headlights from HID's to LED's yesterday. I can say I like them much better so far.

I did have one hiccup because I was also changing the LED front turn signals. The ones that were in there were a little too bluish for me. What I didn't account for though was the length of the lights and the depth of the area where they are encased. Needless to say that when I tried to put the first new one in I ended up popping off the plastic lens that covered the turn signal. My first thought was "****, you moron." Second thought was "Can I get it out?" The answer to the second one was a no...So I then started to see how the hell I could put that back on. Let me just say it was a frustrating hour of me flipping the little plastic lens onto my finger and trying to find a way to get it seated back in place. It wasn't easy to get it placed on top of the enclosure because the plastic lens has these 3 little clips to prevent the stupid thing from coming off...it ended up upside down a couple of times much to my frustration. But the second time that happened I looked through the frustration and tried to flip it over in place so that it sat correctly. After about 10 minutes of carefully and slowly moving the lens I was able to flip it over and align the clips. Now I had to figure out a way of reaching around to the top of the lens and pushing it in to click in place. Not very easy as my finger wasn't long enough I first tried an allen wrench and I was able to push 2 of the clips in, but the third was just too tough and I needed something that looked more like a hook to get better leverage. I finally fashioned a hook from one of the steel handles from a binder clip. After a couple of minutes of jostling around with that I heard a click and the lens was back in place! Woohoo!

Unfortunately I had to keep the old lights for now. So if anyone wants a couple of 3157 switchback LED lights let me know
