Hahah I figured I'd be doing that at some point. Figure it's worth touching up after the fender roll? First time dropping the car, if that wasn't blatantly apparent

You're usually better off rolling the fenders first to try and prevent the chipping from happening in the first place.

Yeah kicking myself now. Of course everything has been reactionary with me though making this infinitely more a pain in the ass.

Haha, I would roll your fenders if that's what you plan on doing and then bring it by the shop for an estimate if you want to get some paint done!

Its tough to tell by the pic, but you might be able to get away with rolling the fender and touching it up with touch up paint. Depending how the roll goes, you might be able to get that chipped part rolled mostly into the inside of the fender. At that point, its in a spot nobody can really see, so if you carefully sand around the area and "seal" it up with touch up paint, you might be able to prevent it from chipping more. Its not a perfect solution, but its a cheap one for a spot that most people will never see.

Thanks man, few other things you guys can look over when the time comes, unrelated to tire rubbing and more related to just stupidity.

I will definitely give this a shot, given the spot of it rust is more my worry than anything else. Thanks for the great info, as always.

Evan, if you are worried about rust I wouldn't rely on touch up paint for more than a few weeks. Because paint isn't actually what protects the metal that falls into the primer/surfacer to do and the clearcoat keeps water out.
Feel free to drop by! I would set up an appointment with Loc first however, and let him know you're from eurodrivers/talked to me already!

All this talk about bacon fenders makes me hungry.

And all the while I'm just like... I wanna get rid of my rock chips :(

Evan, what time is Loc usually in at? Might need to have you guys take a look at the door blades, it's an inevitable fate for all RS' it seems.

You wouldn't be the first to come in with that same problem! He's usually in after 10, some days he isn't in though (perks of being the boss). I would call ahead to set up a time with him.
