  • Witchcraftz's MK4 TDI Platinum Grey Jetta

I bought this car with a blown engine and have been slowly fixing it and building it up.

I picked it up from Lloydminster with a flatbed and brought it home.

Fuzzy pictures from the day it came off the flatbed.

    Replaced:
    Head
    Timing belt+water pump
    KP39 turbo
    ABS pump
    ABS sensors
    Handbrake cables
    Rotors+pads
    Rear hubs

    First mod:
    Custom handbrake handle

    Second mod: Kamei grille

    Third mod: GLI dead pedal

    Next mod: Jetta Monster mats

    Next mod: OEM HIDs

Next mod: Pioneer AVIC 920BT system

Next mod: VNT17VB + Malone tuning Stage 3.5

Next mod: MK5 GTI steering wheel

    December 2013:

    Next mod: Jetta Lit vents

Next mod: 3M Aluminum wrapped wood trim handles

Next mod: MK5 side mirrors (still working on getting the wiring for the signals working)

Next mod: Extended antenna for remote

Next mod: Eibach Pro Kit system cup kit

Next: swapped the Votex roof rack for
Thule ARB47 43 Inch AeroBlade Load Bars
    Thule Traverse Fit Kit 1051
Thule 480R Rapid Traverse foot kit
    Looks like stock but better.

Picked up a set of 2 piece AMG rims with summer rubber.

    On the to do list:
    Install OEM aluminum radio trim
Create a custom solution to fit 2012 GLI Leather seats onto the MK4 (don't like the way others have done it)

To do: Bozer Hood (Thanks Colin!)

More stuff on the to do list: Replace the front fenders and the driver side doors (rusting)

Installed the Boser hood and it looks real good. I am going to have to repaint it to match though.

Next is going to be the replacement of my current fenders due to rusting.

Bought some replacement fenders and found out the rust is coming from the wheel arches. Put side by side so it's easy to see how much gunk got in there over 1 year.

                          Passenger Side

                          Drivers Side

The rust traveled up the door edge...

                          Bought some tools and PPE

And started grinding that stuff off.

I ended up tossing both fenders and drivers side doors and installing replacements. I ground down the rust, put a coat of rust killer, primered, painted and gravel guarded all the inside of the arches. Then I covered all the screws with a top of black silicone to keep the moisture out from penetrating through the screws.

Finally got the AMG Oz AeroII 2 pieces rims on. Celebrated by filling the car with camping gear, bbq, etc and going to Okanagan Lake South.

I love the look but not really the poke of those lug nuts, going to have to order some shorter ones.
