Carbon clean, oil change and intake spacers done at TuneDub

Butt dyno says I am back to full powa! (they said that there was a TON of carbon in there but they forgot to take pics. D'oh!)

JHM R-series stage 3 clutch kit and LWFW on its way and will be installed next.

Those intake spacers make a big difference! Last one we did we wrapped the bottom of the intake manifold with Gold heat wrap as well to keep the air as cold as possible. Manifold stayed nice and cold after a drive.

Put the 303's back on the .:R, cleaned/re-oiled the K&N CAI and re-calibrated the butt dyno..... Woo Hoo! A solid +4HP gain if I do say so myself!

After much research, Me and my buddy did a t stat replacement on my b8 s4. Not too bad of a job, just need the proper tools and place.

I will say that the t stat is in the most inconvenient place on the 3.0t platform.

I can now say that I feel comfortable doing this again if I had to do the t stat again or the waterpump.

Thermostat was a recall. Mine was done during the fuel leak recall.

Why not have the dealer do it for free?

It had already been done once at the dealer and failed again:(

My Zonda would not start again. I opened the hood to adjust the connectors. As im opening the hood and I pull metal rod that holds it up...it...it..just falls of the bracket. Im standing there with this metal rod in my hand. The suv is so old that the plastic bracket holding it just gave up. fml.. (engine runs fine though..)
