  • 2015 Porsche 911 GTS

Porsche has taken the wraps off the 2015 911 GTS.

Available as a coupe or convertible with rear- or all-wheel drive, the GTS features tinted bi-xenon headlights, black engine vents and a sports exhaust system with black chrome-plated tailpipes. The models also have wider rear fenders and 20-inch center locking wheels with a matte black finish.

Interior changes are relatively limited but there's leather / Alcantara sport seats and Alcantara upholstery on everything from the dashboard to the roof liner.

Detailed performance specifications were not released but power is provided by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 430 PS (316 kW). When connected to a PDK transmission, the coupe accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds while the convertible does the same task in 4.2 seconds. All four models also have a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph) and the GTS Coupe is the fastest of the bunch as it can hit 306 km/h (190 mph) when equipped with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission.

Speaking on performance, all the models come equipped with the Sport Chrono package and the PASM active damper system which lowers the car's ride height by ten millimeters.

The Porsche 911 GTS will go on sale in November and German pricing starts at €117,549 (including a 19% VAT).

In the United States, the 911 Carrera GTS starts at $114,200 while the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet retails for $126,100. Likewise, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS costs $120,900 for the coupe and $132,800 for the convertible.
