  • Tyrolsport brake caliper stiffiners

Has anyone bought or used these? They look like they would be a nice simple upgrade to add some rigidity to the calipers. Is there any shops in town that carry them? If not is there any others interested in ordering and throw a couple sets in the same order.

Looks like it would slide nicer for sure, but it also looks like dust/dirt can very easily access the slide pins from both sides and not be the best. Can you make rubber covers to protect them again?

the back section has a rubber boot that goes over to keep dirt out, I would not think that much dirt would get in the front of the bushing. You could just clean the pin and bushing and re grease a couple times a year. It would take maybe 5 minutes a side.

I've never used them but have heard good reports from a few reputable Vortex members in the TT section.

Some BMW folks do this. If you Google "BMW brass caliper bushings" you'll get a lot opinions.
