I bet it's $99,900 CAD MSRP before any options.

          More Porsche engine news:

Porsche's head of Research and Development has confirmed the Boxster and Cayman will be offered with four-cylinder engines.

Speaking to Car & Driver, Wolfgang Hatz said the company is "working hard" on new flat-four engines for the models. He declined to go into specifics but hinted the four-cylinder engines will be introduced when the cars are facelifted in 2016.

When pushed for more details, Hatz confirmed the Cayman GT4 will use a naturally aspirated flat-six engine but refused to say whether or not it will be the only Boxster or Cayman with a six-cylinder engine. This seems to suggest it could be the only variant to be offered with an engine other than the new turbocharged four-cylinder.

            Latest info:

New details are starting to emerge about the turbocharged engines that will power the facelifted Porsche 911.

According to Motoring's sources, the entry-level model will use a turbocharged 2.7-liter six-cylinder engine that develops up to 407 PS (300 kW). Despite the improved performance, the engine will be more economical as it will reportedly consume less than 8L/100km (29.4 mpg US / 35.3 mpg UK).

The 911 Carrera S will also feature a turbocharged engine and it is expected to displace 3.4-liters. Specifications remain a mystery but it should produce more than 407 PS (300 kW).

The facelifted Porsche 911 is expected to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, so expect to learn more in the coming months.
