Sweet car. What are some of the options that are desired on a r8?

Congrats Rob! Gorgeous car and can't wait for a ride in it.

Ps- Pat needs a ride for sure so he can have one in 9 months lol. I approve this!

For me it went something like this...

90% preference for white, the last 10% was a tie between silver and red.

I wanted at least a 2009 for subtle differences vs. a 2008...LED strip in the headlights, white lettering on the multi-function display instead of red, LED interior lights. Anything more than a 2009, though, starts to get pricier.

                Must haves:
                -Manual
                -Carbon Side Blades
                -Carbon Interior
-Black Leather Interior (no alcantara on the seats)
                -Bang & Olufsen Stereo

                Nice to haves:
-Carbon Engine Bay (although now that I have one, it would be a must have)
-Extended Leather Pack (leather dash, door cards, knee bolster, dash cowl, etc...) (same goes for the dash...so much nicer than any plastic!)
                -Alcantara Headliner

When this car came up with everything the way I would have ordered it from the factory...I had to.

Bonus came when Derek and I fired it up for the first time and looked at each other, "That's not the stock exhaust, but it sounds awesome." During the OOP, Calgary Autoworks confirmed it was a Milltek non-resonated; the exhaust I was thinking of putting on anyways.

No need, the Milltek is absolutely perfect in my opinion...

On the dry, does it get fishtaily at all under serious throttle? or does the Quattro & T.C still keep it well seated?

Picked up the R8 from Jed (Mobile Reflections - http://www.mobilereflections.ca) last week and all I can say is....WOW! Jed's worked on my S4 and R32 previously and always did a great job and this time, no different, fantastic results.

I had him pull off the old, yellowing 3M, do a full polish and put on a bunch of Xpel Ultimate to protect it. To top it off, he put on a couple coats of CQuartz Finest.

                                Here are some pics.
