  • Is Bob at Urban X still the go-to person/shop in Calgary?

Looking to have a set of new 19" tires mounted, I have had bad experiences with poor mounts/balances on 19's in the past so want to make sure it's done right the first time.

Which Urban X location does Bob work at?

I believe he is at the one closer to the Airport. I personally deal with Cort at the East location just off glenmore and they do a great job there as well.

Bob works at the NE location, but if you go see Cort and Gary at the Urban X SE location you'll be very pleased as well. They've done numerous sets of tires for me and i've never had any complaints!

        Bob/Cort/Gary are all awesome.

We have awesome Hunter machines at work and have never had any issues.

I've been to all three locations and have been treated extremely well at all of them.

I go to Cort @ the SE location. No concerns. Super speedy and great work.

Got my new rubber mounted up today! Gary at Urban X was awesome to deal with. Super quick work as well. Dropped the wheels/tires off at 1pm and picked them up at 4! They even put some tire dressing on for me.

Thanks again for the recommendations. I'll definitely be back.

Now I just have to wait for springtime and dry roads. [emoji51]

Congrats I am a fan of that wheel, and I have seen some with an amazingly bright finish on them too.

I snuck the wheels on in the fall for a bit just after I bought them. They came with stretched 225 width rubber which I sold. The 245 width will fill the wheel well a bit better so really looking forward to spring!

They were plasti-dipped black by a previous owner (poorly) but I may dip them again, really like the black wheel look with my colour of car. Opinions?

The front needs to be lowered a bit, another spring project!
