        Serious kit arrived tonight.
The chassis will flex before any of this business.

The seat search continues. Having been beaten to a set of m3 seats, I've found these Recaros 3HRs away that I may take a chance on.

Looking pretty good, seems to be high quality stuff...hard to believe you got that for about $40....

            Yeah, about $40.

I was sweating telling her I was going to pick up a pair of seats for it, so I've adopted a new tactic.

Her: "Uhhhh, and how much are those?"
Me: "C'mon, you've been around cars long enough, how much do you think?"
            Her: "Hmmmm, about $500..?"
            Me: "Close! $400!"
Her: "See! I'm getting good at this!"

            They were $900.

Picked up the recaros this morning, after a lot of driving.

In case anyone thinks I'm being JDM tacky, this is as close as I'll ever get to the feel of the Holy Grail - the e30 M3 Sport Evolution

Managed to make it home from Virginia with enough time to install the rear sway bar. The install ran into darkness, so I'll post photos tomorrow as I install the front bar.
Brackets for the seats should be here on the 5th or so.

                        Re: e30mclow's latest e30

Got the ARBs in last weekend, now it is finally on to fixing the interior!

                        As a reminder:

                        What's to come:

Should be all swapped out on Saturday, before my Recaro brackets arrive on Tuesday.

How much is a super super rare Cardinal Red interior in mint condition? These days, about $1-1.5k.
What did I pay? About $75....I'm serious this time!

I'm in the middle of dying the existing vinyl panels and it is turning out great! Honestly looks like brand new!
The house stiiinks and I have a headache.

This will sadly mean a turning point in how I manage the e30 -> I'm going to have to start locking it.

                            Thanks!

In case you thought I was joking, I’m genuinely dying the panels one by one to save money.
Cannot wait to have it done tomorrow
