Just a feeler, going to be taking them off soon but not sure whether I would like to keep them. I have an extra set of rails to put in their stead.
Selling the audi roof rails as well as the cross bars
I Cut up some factory ford expedition roof rails to fit in the factory audi rails. I put nutserts into the factory audi rails, end caps are bolted in and the cross bars slide in. So i just assembled it on the floor and with a helping hand placed it on the roof as one piece.
I'm not claiming these are amazing but honestly they do look pretty decent. they sit pretty low to the roof so it doesn't acommodate every accessory.
(I do have a bike rack on it now and the hold down bolts are sitting 1/4" off the roof, had to trim them to slide the nuts underneath)
I will say they do follow the contour of the roof really nicely.
Also, I am not attesting to its strength either, I do put my bike on for around town. Took it 45 min down the highway once but my butt was puckered pretty tight the whole way.
asking $80 for now.
