The resale is a bit better on the Toyota, but they are both quite good. You never see a truck on either lot returned on lease.

The Toyota is 43G for the towing/off rode package, whereas I can get the Nissan SE package with is better mechanically, for right around 33G with a better finance package. The toyota has a nicer interior though.

If the truck was for 100% personal use, and money was not an issue, I would go for the Toyota for sure. However I am going to be using it mostly to go to and from construction sites for work I think I am going to go with the cheaper one...The Nissan.

I do agree that the Tundras are wicked mint.

If you go Nissan I'd get a Tiitan those trucks are sweet, or if you really want some power get a 2500 duramax, chip it and give it some propane injection for 500 or 600 hp with 1000+lbs. of torque easy.

    Re: New truck advice

I am really looking at getting a new truck to haul dirt bikes and a boat around.
Just bought the consumer reports and I would buy the Taco for it's gas milage as well as resale value. I went to Country hills Toyota and got a quote of 43,000. Just built my own on a USA site and came in at 32,000. Exactly the same truck. I would like to know if it would be worth buying it in the USA instead. Any one know how much you need to pay to get one in from there??
