Re: Best Calgary Photoshoot spots?
Ramsay has a metric crap ton of locations as well. Ogden and the Foothillls are pretty good for industrial shots, Kensington has some good locations (like the underground parking lot which is almost always empty), in the alleys, Bridgeland where the General used to be, the far north end of Sarcee by the dump is also a good location.
It really depends on what feel you're going for.

Re: Best Calgary Photoshoot spots?
i'll start a short list;
West of city:
-springbank airport
-south of that stupid amusement park thing on the #1
-bragg creek up near wintergreen golf course
-old banff coach road north and south of highway
Downtown
- any alley along 10th, 11th, 12th ave
- steven ave
- city hall park
- eau claire
- centre street bridge and hill adjacent
- parking garages with rooftop parking on 9th
- chinook mall
East Calgary
- lots of nooks and cranny's in Ogden industrial yard behind buildings
- near Calgary Water Works building near stampede grounds
I'm currently looking for a run down barn/farmhouse/something in a field that resembled an old building; to use for a shoot. it needs to be somewhat accessible for a car that doesn't require tons of dirt road offroading. if anyone has any ideas of where i can find let me know

Re: Best Calgary Photoshoot spots?
too many to list. there are an endless supply downtown all dependant on traffic and parking, as well as in the industrial yards and west of the city with views of the rockies. i actually went on a scouting adventure 2 nights ago looking for some more.
totally depends on what types of shots you want and what light (time) you want to shoot.

Best Calgary Photoshoot spots?
Hey Guys,
Getting the R detailed on Friday and was thinking of heading out in the early evening to snag a few shots of her before she gets all dirty again. Anyhow, was wondering if anybody had some ideas for good spots in Cowtown to serve as backdrops for pics?
Better yet, if you've got some sweet pics of your own rides in and around Calgary, post 'em up... I'm sure we'd all love to see them again.
Cheers... Deuce.
