Re: World Cup Football (Soccer)
Depending on the talent. If its washed up or old, it fails. If its young, and growing talent, it succeeds. Henry was by no means washed up, but I think he was too old for the change. His place was in Arsenal and its a shame to see such a great player going up to play soccer in North America.

LOL England moved up? At the expense of Portugal & Italy. It's a consolation I'll take!Originally posted by Wildfire View PostEngland actually moved up in the world rankings!!! Im not making this up! LOL
I agree. I think premiereship to la liga transfers fail more than they succeed. As for Henry going to New York... he should have stayed at Arsenal. He would have mixed well with the young talent that was coming in. His experience would have gone a long way.

I think the final was a hard game to ref. But yeah, I wished the ref let the game flow more. I think a south American ref might have been a better pick.
Canadian Turbo, as per Veedubart said...you gota go to a game in London. Last year my bro in law got me tickets to the first game of the season with Arsenal when I was visiting. I saw Chelsea a couple of times too when I lived there. You gota see a game, the atmosphere and experience amazing.
