Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
So basically everything is a knock off of everything... either pick what you like best.. or go with something original! (Used market?)

Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
Truth be told, Raderwerks/Miro's are knockoffs of DZ Exclusive DZ1's and DZ Exclusive DZ1's are knockoffs of WRD's

sorry, that wasn't mean to come off as a dick comment! i obviously interpreted your post differently, no hard feelings?Originally posted by R-Audi View PostThanks Buddy. Thats Awesome.
I wasn't talking about Keskin.. I was simply clarifying Kor's post above mine saying Rota's Looked Like try hard Volks, where in fact they are straight knock offs. The whole line up is a knock off from some expensive japanese design.
i would go for some legit volks before rota's if i was actually looking for lightweight wheels.. but for most of us looks are enough. rotas are decent wheels.

Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
True kris, when your talking about forged versus cast..... There are a few volks that are not forged. I was comparing same manufacturing process wheels. And yes there are a lot of crappy wheels out there, we get what we pay for.......
edit: I'm talking about cheap cheap wheels being crap...the 3 optioned choices here are well made wheels.Last edited by popp; 01-16-2010, 11:36 AM.

^ I sure hope so!!
Why not watch some of the wheel classifieds? For the cost of some of the 'knock-off' wheels new, you can get the real deal used?

Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
Maybe 85 percent of wheels are made at the same plant in China, but that just means there are a lot of crappy wheels out there. Volks are forged, Rotas are cast. Not the same assembly line at all, right?Originally posted by popp View Postevery wheel out there is a knockoff of something. 85% of all wheels on the planet are made in 1 of 6 wheel plants in Japan or China. I've sold $2000ea wheels that were made in the same factory as the $80 "winter" wheels we sell. The only thing that makes rota's a "rep" is because they don't have the volk center cap, but I assure you they are probably made on the same assembly line......Last edited by Kor; 01-15-2010, 10:38 PM.

Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
Thanks for everyone's input.. I'm still undecided which to get. I still like the miro's/raderwerks and the keskins.. And then im still caught thinking about the rota's.. I still can't decide.

Re: Narrowed it down to these wheel choices
The Rota's look sick on Stanton's ride due to the colour of the car and the colour of the wheels. Not to mention the stance and extensive supporting mods that help make everything come together.
Because your ride is a PG Jetta and you are gonna be running an OG votex lip, I'd go with something a little more euro/clean to match the theme you will have going. Taking all of this into consideration, I would recommend the Miro's.
