$110 doesn't sound high to me at all. Time to loosen the purse strings.

*EDIT* I was curious, so I ran it through Fedex's online quoting system. On a 2 day service it's about $120 and on a 5 business day service it's $25. So there ya go. Cheap to ship if you use their slowest service. But still does not account for any brokerage / duty.

    Hope that helps!
    Thats quite a small package.

I had headlights shipped from NY for 40ish bux. The box was approx 1.5ft by 2ft by 2ft if not larger.

the cost is a little higher but if you ship it overnight you do not pay brokerage. most cases the cost of the overnight shipping is less then the ground plus brokerage.........something to do with flying over the boarder and driving over it......

ship USPS. no brokerage. shipper wont know brokerage charges until UPS decides to tack them on after. there is no formula to calculating them

Ask him if that $110 includes brokerage, GST, duties and everything. If it doesn't then that is waaay overpriced.
