**** that tow truck driver, how dare he damage some else's hard earned property. I would sue the **** of him. Are you kidding me? See a nice car, so lets damage it because I am allowed to tow it? There has to be a responsibility for private property on behalf of the city. These guys don't have Carte Blanche.

Not to split hairs, but he parked in a 'no stop zone' during rush hour. It wasn't that he was parked at a meter, or in a lot without paying for parking. Traffic was backed up for 3 blocks because everyone had to merge over one lane because he was blocking. That said, I thought he could have hooked up the dollies and not have hoisted the front so high. I think the front tires were off the ground by like a foot and a half.

+1 for the tow truck driver, can't stand when people don't read or have the "I'll just be a minute" attitude.

I agree that the driver should be penalized with a tow/ticket, but that doesn't give the tow truck driver the right to damage someone's property.

I was kinda surprised he didn't hook up the dollies to the rear wheels when the e-brake was on. Glad it wasn't my car.

Yes it was a bad move to park there but towing in such a manner should be considered vandalism. I would consider making a police report or at least phoning the tow company as I am sure someones insurance is going to be pissed.

He shouldn't of parked there but the tow truck driver is still liable (sp?) for the damages to the car.

Walking by the Paliser dowtown today and saw a 3 series BMW parked on center st. A tow truck had just jacked up the front end, alarm going off and the tow truck driver with a big **** eating grin. He hops in the truck and drives away. The e-brake was on in the car and the rear tires were locked up. Aftermarket exhaust tips are bent up at 45deg, and the rear valence is now cracked.

That dude should not have parked his car in the no-stop zone during rush hour
