Blackberries are what people think of when they think of the "original" smart phone, and yes the iphone is newer. Doesn't mean that i am behind the times at all, business owners all around the world still use blackberry and honestly i don't think that it will change in the next 10 years. This is the same situation people were talking about when apple fanboys said that the macs would phase out microsoft. It just wont happen due to the fact that the industry has been using them forever, that is what they are most familiar with and some programs (essential to some businesses) can only be run on the current platform.
And as for phasing out keyboards?? really? Have you tried to type on a ipad? it is retarded. Secretaries/anyone who can type at all on a computer will be harmed with only touch screen keyboards. I can type ~60 words per minute on a keyboard and about 6 on a touchscreen. Now tell me that it won't negatively impact businesses....

So honestly these are my opinions:
- blackberry will be just fine, they will lose some customers to all the other phones coming out but will still retain most of their customers
- keyboards will stay as cheap accessories for a computer/laptop. There will be an OPTION to get a touchscreen one but the keyboard will come standard with a computer.
- They will start to offer phones with touchscreen and phones with buttons. The same model but with two different options to suit peoples wants.

I absolutely hate touch screens. It's missing the feel of actually typing and hitting keys. I think my blackberry is great, could use a few things but i can type a message or email while talking to someone and looking at them at the same time

ya having 64gb is pretty bad ass! thats a pretty good all in one device for movies, music, games and photos at that point IMO.. i'd love to see a 128gb ipad2 HD or 3 when they ship

I've got a 64GB 4S, 14GB free at the moment. my 3GS was a 32GB and it was topped up. Apps, photos (taken on the phone), and a **** ton of music.

3GS. Fido. Works well, trouble is when u start using it, then u want more/faster/better. Always get the largest one - I went with 16g, and have had to purge it twice. Should have bought the 32g.

How in the....... I have a 16gig 3GS now followed by a 16gig iPhone 4, never have I gone over 6gigs......

I'm guessing you're a fan of having a lot of music with you at all times?
