    Re: Calgary Tourism

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. They are coming from Australia. Currently they are in Vancouver and complaining about the cold. wait till they come here and feel the chill. And yes they are planning to hit Edmonton for a few days haha. They are going to stay here for at least a week.

Time to go back! I'll be heading there when I'm back in December.

Bobsleding at COP or ziplining if it's warmer. Heck even do both!

October? This year isn't looking so good. It's too bad because my Sens were gonna take it back to Ottawa.

Where are your guests coming from?

I'd say Banf is your best bet as the natural beauty is one of a kind, or Tyrell Museum as you won't see so many dinosaur bones anywhere else in Canada.

Go skating at the olympic plaza for free and get a decadent hot chocolate from Choklat after.
Visit chinatown, then go for generous portion of fabulous deep fried squid or ginger beef(this is a Calgary only food!) at Ho Won.
Go to the Glenbow Museum, check out "Fairy Tales, Monsters and the Genetic Imagination"
Go to Nanton and check out the "Lights the Way" festival

    Other food suggestions:
Lemongrass Grill near Chinook, superb Vietnamese food and authentic spring rolls
Japanese Village, good food and a cool cooking demonstration/show to boot
Calgary Tower, awesome view and decent food
