Re: Extending the exhaust tip
Thanks everyone,
I didnt think a muffler shop would be bothered just welding a tip on. you see soooooo many hondas with cheap slide on units that i thought it was hard to have one put on. I guess they dont mind looking nasty lol
whatever theyll have to put a bit of extra pipe in there to make it fit but shouldnt be too much problem for a proper shop.
I like the top wide or the twin tip magnaflow ones, thanks for that Kris i'll look into those. For now its just the tip that needs doing, Ill get a new system with a turbo upgrade but my monies on other things right now.

Re: Extending the exhaust tip
Are you looking for just the tip or an actual system?
I have a magnaflow cat back on my jetta and I love the way it sounds.
Whether it be the tip or the whole thing I highly recomend magnaflow

Re: Extending the exhaust tip
Seriously, any exhaust shop can weld on a new tip for you. Alternatively George might do it for you, although when I talked to him about it once he said I could probably get a lower price from an exhaust shop since they are really cheap and fast.
Just buy any tip that catches your fancy and head to your local exhaust shop like Minute Muffler or Calgary Muffler or whatever.
Some of the shops may even have some stainless tips. In fact I think even Auto Value and Parts Source have stainless tips. They are just no name brand but they will probably look okay if you want something cheap.
Just make sure they are really stainless so they stay shiny and nice.

Extending the exhaust tip
Hi everyone,
anyone got any ideas how i can go about getting my exhaust tip extended? at the moment it just points straight down under the car and im hoping if i can get it cut and an extension put on to have it sticking out the back then it may cut down the noise from it a little, gettin a bit fed up of the droning coming out of it.
Was thinking a twin tip or maybe even better something flattened to fit nicely in the rear skirt.
So anyone know anyone that can make one up and fit it or where you can get NICE looking tips etc (not a canadian tire special thanks) there will probably be some welding required as well i guess.
