    hood pins are deffinately a good thing to have for cf hoods...not only do they do a better job by keeping the hood safely on the car, but they also prevent the hood from warping

    Mine has popped from the stock latch and it was not a cheap non-fitting one. It's simple weight vs lift at speed. My pins held it though.

    OK I am not even going to bother arguing the point. Just think that metal bonded to carbon fiber is no where as strong as metal bonded to metal.

    They are actually for a friend of mine. She got a cf hood and didn't like how it latched so she wanted pins just in case.
