    Re: Spark Plugs

I use the copper and change yearly. 1 range cooler since I'm chipped. No issues. Under 10 bucks at Auto Value.

there's an article on audigeeks.com I'll try to dig up.

I run the bkr6e aswell and do mine every oil change (about 10k) since they're copper plugs. Only about $10 for 4. Copper has a better thermal conductivity than platinum and irridium, but wears out much faster.

If you want a longer lasting plug you can use the bkr6e-ix which is an irridium version

edit: here's the article. Definatley a worthwhile read for the 1.8t guys.

    Spark Plugs

How often do you guys change your spark plugs? What is the recommended service interval for them to be changed....?
Do platinum plugs make a difference on a all 1.8T totally unmodified OEM engine...?
Working...
