My bad, I wrote the wrong thing, it was the front right ABS sensor, not O2 sensor.

The car is apart right now but once it's back as one piece I'll pull those codes again.

what were the codes exactly (open crkt, range/performance) etc?

My front right ABS sensor wiring was damaged/cut so maybe a short there would have potentially caused some weird error codes.

I haven't driven the car since the vagcom check because I'm working on the rust issue and the police don't take kindly to cars driving around without bumpers and fenders.

I hope it's not the TCM or ECU but you may be right.

I have been thinking on what connects the three, only thing I can think of is the TCM or ECU. Other then that, there is no direct link that I can think of that would cause all three to go off. First two, fuel and Co2 could easily be connected, the third not as much.

I don't think the ground point for the 02 and the transmission temp are the same unfortunately. Never knew we had a fuel temp sensor either. But they don't seem to be in the same grounding location in the car. Could also be a low voltage issue?

    Multiple sensor failure?

So I plugged in the Vagcom yesterday because I had a a CEL.

    I got this:
    O2 sensor intermittent
    Fuel temp sensor intermittent
    Transmission temp sensor intermittent

I have a feeling that there's something else happening since I doubt all 3 sensors (the O2 was replaced 6 months ago) failed simultaneously?

I cleared all the codes so we'll see if they come back. But it thought it was strange?
