best place I've ever dealt with...BY FAR! We had our allroad fixed there after the wifey was rear ended last year. Loc and the gang did a beautiful job and even went the extra mile to re-weld the exhaust tips to get them aligned properly. I also dealt with Loc when he was at SOS...great guy

Cosmos Collision is my favorite place in town by FAR. The work they do is incredible and Loc is the nicest guy you can imagine. Super helpful and he will go the extra mile. He completely understands that you want the perfection of having a new car after getting work done there. Will email you pics of work as he goes and invite you into the shop for a tour or to see your project take shape.

      I won't go anywhere else

He also has a detailing clinic that he runs in the Spring.

I have an 08 GTI, how much to get the lower plastics painted in Reflex Silver? They need the textured finish sanded smooth first.

              Re: Welcome Cosmos Collision

Be very carefull with there quotes. I had work priced out between cosmos and SOS to replace/repair a rusted strut tower on my 97 jetta glx. First thing COSMOS said is we typically won't do work on cars over 10 years old.

They then proceeded to quote me $3000 to repair a rust crack on the strut tower. They suggested I write off the car because of how extensive the repair would be. They wanted to replace the entire front apron of the vehicle. (This is a car that has never been in an accident)

I then went over to SOS where they quoted me $675 to do the same work. Needless to say I went to SOS to have the work done and they actually did the work for $400 as they over estimated the work that needed to be done.

SOS is top notch and very honest. They have been around for a long time. Get multiple quotes for whatever work you want done on your cars. Watch out for these guys at COSMOS. It looks like they only want to work on newer cars or do work for lots of money.

                Re: Welcome Cosmos Collision

^^^they (Cosmos) do the work properly, which is why the price is so high. They are mainly a new-ish VW/Audi/Porsche bodyshop, so I do agree with you in that respect. In my opinion SOS was only good when Loc was there anyway and they have gone downhill since he left...which, in turn, is the main reason why Cosmos has gotten so much better.

Just my two cents of course

                  Re: Welcome Cosmos Collision

That is very possible. Just want everyone to understand that they shouldn't trust anyone of the body shops blindly. Get multiple quotes for whatever bodywork you are getting done. This industry is rampant with fraud and preys on people who are not willing to take that extra step to insure they are not being screwed.

                    Re: Welcome Cosmos Collision

I will second that Cosmos is the place to go if you want things done the right way. They will use OEM parts, they will replace a part instead of bashing it bending it hammering it or patching it. For the kinds of cars we have on this forum, thats how you should do it!

Like I said, its about making the car just like new, not just good enough. If thats not what you are looking for I am sure you can find a better bargain somewhere. I don't think they are really in the business of painting fiberglass bodykits for hondas at $100 each :/

Talk to Loc though he is such a nice guy he will tell you what he plans to do, and if its not to your liking then thats cool A nice attitude and great service goes a long way (as many of our Tunedub fans know)

I'll add my positive experience with Cosmos. Was warranty work through Audi, and after some confusion with Audi, Loc stepped up and made it right. I think he went above and beyond, and I'd even bet he took a hit on my job. However, customer service is very important to me and Cosmos DELIVERED on it. Awesome quality in the work. You get the results you want.
