  • WTB: mk1 or mk2 golf or rabbit

Hey, I'm living on a student budget using my mom's car. I am looking for a car with a solid body, minor rust. And running, I can do tune up but I need it to be drivable.

I would prefer a GTI but am open to any offer.

Then you shouldn't be looking for a car 20 to 30 years old.

The problem you're going to find is a Mk1/Mk2 with "Solid body, minor rust" is that they go for more than a mk3 or mk4. If you're on a student budget why not pick a price range (say $4000) and look around to see what you can get for that money?
