Re: Hello, my name is Thomas. I go CHOO CHOO!

Welcome & nice to meet you at the January meet at BP's

Great start, only one gripe and i always have this gripe due to safety concerns; please remove your HID's from your headlights. Halogen lights will not only be safer and not blind oncoming traffic, but they will also allow for the proper distribution of light to hit the road. HID's tend to shine too brightly on the ground directly in front of your car and less so the further out you get which dramatically decreases your overall night vision.

I am certainly excited to see what you do next to this diesel!

What are you running on the Nexus?
          Doesn't look like Dashcommand...

          Can it show requested boost?

What year is your car? And yeah, the HID'S while great for you, they're terrible for on coming traffic. Put them in your high beam or Retrofit projectors into your housings....I have a set of projectors you can have very cheap, just PM me...and welcome to Eurodrivers and the TDI group too

Welcome dean, nice meeting you the other day.

Thumbs down on "rolling coal" and "smoke shows". But I like the Bluetooth setup. I wonder if I could get one of those Bluetooth dongle things working for my Audi.

It's for my sister, I don't turn on the stereo while she's in there because she's usually sleeping.

I am using the torque app. The full version.

Not too sure about requested as it's not as comprehensive as vcds. Shows actual, adjusted for the altitude.

I have tried the app on an audi a4 and it works fine except the way it gathers turbo data is different, but there's a setting for that.

I have tuned it down since I first got it, I only get smoke under full load, like towing or accelerating uphill, I live outside the city so I usually drive like a hypermiler.
