  • Re-introduction

Well its a little slow at the office today and I've had the car for about a week now so i figure she should get her own thread, most of you know the old Jetta but for those who don't here is one to jog the memory...

any way after selling it in September,to a friend of one of Eurodrivers finest i was on the lookout for the next big thing, wanted to stay in the VAG scene so i started looking at the S4.... my first though was just keeping it simple get a b6 or b7 some wheels suspension exhaust, tune and enjoy it but after testing multiple cars none of them fit the bill and to be honest i was a little disappointing with them... granted they were stock. After about a month of searching for something else i couldn't really find a car i was happy with.. one night browsing Audizine i came across this 2001.5 S4 exchanged emails with the owner for about a month, got a PPI done at Crosby Audi out there, flew out to have a look at it and got it on a train here....

    Specs:
    tial s605 w/ inlet
    EPL Tunning
ER side Mounts with carbon fiber shrouds
    Spec stage 3+ Clutch
    OEM dual mass flywheel
    034 3' Downpipes
    034 3' High flow cats
    Borla true dual cat back
    Bosch 72lb injectors
    EPL mass air flow
    034 ICM delete
    Stern Engine mount
    Stern transmition mount
    Stern Snub Mount
    Bosch 044 fuel pump
    JHM Solid Short Throw shifter
    Stasis Coilovers
    AWE Drive Train Stabilizer

and of course everything that can leak, tear, break, snap, creek, squeak.... you get the idea has been replaced.

    first impressions??
Car Hauls a** power delivery is smooth and its just like driving a stock car till you want to go.. i don't know if its how EPL tunes the cars or the way its put together but i never thought a car with soo much power can be this drive-able, cant wait to get a nice meth kit hooked up and get some more revisions done... i will leave you with one picture... sorry for the crap quality but haven't had a chance to do a real shoot

Thanks for the kind words!!! now i need some wheel ideas, car came with some VMR 710 wheels that i am not a fan of so those will be up for sale shortly if any one is interested.. i was thinking of going the same route as the jetta, a nice simple clean OEM+ look maybe some B5 RS4 wheels? B6/7 18' Avus? any other thoughts?
