  • 1987 Bmw 325e

I'm posting this for a buddy at work. He's selling a 1987 BMW 325E 2door. This is truly one of the cleanest, unmolested E30's I've seen. He has almost every receipt since new. Its an original alberta car thats extremely clean for its age. Its a 5 speed with a manual nonleaking sunroof. It has around 225K and is excellent shape for its age. He is looking for $5900 for the car. The car is located in Calgary and is ready to go. I'll let the pics do the talking.

    Cheers

            Re: 1987 Bmw 325e

            I saw this car tonight

Fantastic body, you won't find an e30 in better shape in Canada. I promise, its brand new, inside the engine bay, inside the trunk, wheel wells, underside, etc. Owner has painstakingly restored it with original parts here and there and the paint is original and fantastic. Someone babied it.

I don't think its quite practical enough for me, I kind of want to abuse my winter car and I would feel bad about this, its more like a hobby car, an amazing example and as mentioned if you did an engine swap or put some sport seats in it, it would be magazine-worthy pretty fast.

PM me if you want my opinion but if you are looking for an e30 which looks FANTASTIC this is the one. It has its little things that you may or may not want to get taken care of but the looks isn't one of those things.

                  Re: 1987 Bmw 325e

I checked this car out myself...Peter even lent me the service records to review over night. This car has been maintained properly through out its life, and it looks and drives accordingly. If my winter car budget was a little bit bigger I'd be all over this thing.

Also note...this is a 325es, not just a run of the mill 325e...Wikipedia has a good explanation of the difference.
