i can get both. the new touchscreen plays dvd movies, has internal hard drive for mp3s. but i dont have any maps for that one yet... they aren't out yet.

mkv regular dvd nav would be about $1150
touchscreen version $1950

when will the maps be out for the new one and can i watch dvds and drive at the same time
also can i run oem bluetooth and ipod hookups

you can get hacked maps off the net already for it.
yes and yes for BT/ipod.

can you drive and watch dvds at the same time? i don't know... if its restricted someone probably has found a hack already.

those were the maps i was talking about. the non-touchscreen maps are available no problem.
