FS: 2000 Jetta (1.8 BT)
I hate to sell my baby, but its time.
History: Bought this VW from my cousin in 2004 as he needed to pay for University tuition
in Scotland. Before this it sat on blocks for almost a year (and had less than 20,000km).
Since that time I've invested a lot of time and money getting the car the way I wanted it.
It has been in no accidents, with the exception of a lady backing into it once.
Maintenance:
-Replaced clutch and flywell 15,000 km ago (Autotech clutch + lightened VR6 flywheel)
-Replaced break pads 10,000 km ago
-Oil changes with Castrol synthetic every 5,000 km
-Wheels rotated every 15,000 km
-Matched and painted front section (bumper,hood,fenders) 5,000 km ago (gravel chips)
Upgrades/Modifications:
Exterior:
-GLI front, rear lip, plus (fiberglass) GLI sideskirts
-HID kit 6000k (white/blue) 9007 bulb -QMR motorsports.
-Cross drilled rear breaks
-FK Coilovers (1.5" drop)
-Euro front rub strip (side blinker delete)
-Stubby antenna
-Front/rear 35% window tint
-18" Oettinger RE wheels + Nexen 235/40/18 (60-75% tread) + 20 ballseated silver lugs
-15" Jetta stock wheels (if you want them)
Interior:
-LED colour matched Boost gauge (column mount) + Air/fuel gauge (wheel mounted)
Engine:
-Upsolute BT ECU software (BT T3 program)
-Garret T3 Super60 turbo
-APR exhaust manifold
-ATP downpipe
-Custom Stainless Steel DP to Exhaust
-APR exhaust system
-Front mount intercooler (with custom piping)
-Forge DV
-Kenetic MBC
-AEM air intake (needs replacing)
Specs:
2000 Jetta 1.8T (BT)
Black Magic Exterior, Black cloth interior
99xxxkms (mostly McLeod, ugh)
5 speed manual transmission
Caveat emptor:
-A few minor rock-chips on the windshield (price adjustment accounted)
-Front right bumper mount bracket is slightly damaged and as such the bumper isn't fully aligned.
-Air intake needs to be replaced with a VR6 setup to avoid a bottleneck
All the major work on this car was done locally, George at Tunedub created this beast
and knows it well.
I'm looking to sell this car to someone who shares the same passion I do for VW's and will
give it a good home.
