a staggered set-up will not effect the awd system as long as the overall diameter is the same (or very close) as the front.

yeah, but with staggered setups it is very hard to get it close enough for it not to be hard on the diff (even if you do extensive research to get your diameters equal, even a drop in like 5psi makes a difference, and in the long run a staggered look is not worth the wear on your diff). best to not run staggered on quattro, you're just creating understeer anyways.

Yes, they are the same tires. Like I said the rears need too be raplaced. The rash is like 4 inchs long. Ill get pictures of the damage up soon.
