The time has come to sell the Jetta. Im just gonna be straight up about this car because there are things wrong with it and don't wanna lie cause I know its gonna come back and bite me in the ass.
Basic information:
- Black exterior with tan leather interior (rare)
- Top of the line GLX model with every option of that year inlcuding Climatronic and rear sunshade blind
- 5 speed
- 270,000 km
- Im the 3rd owner, bought in September 3rd 2008
Accidents:
- In 2008 October, guy in parking lot scraped my driver side door. Cause him on the spot and went through insurance. Fixed by Calgary Coachworks, have receipt to prove.
- In 2010 Ocotober, guy hit my driver side rear quarter panel and bumper. His fault, went through insurance, fixed by Cosmos Collision still have receipt to prove.
- In 2011 June, got rear ended, did not go through insurance
Maintenace:
- From 2008 to 2010 the car was maintained by George at Tunedub and Lawrence at Calgary Coach Works
- Most recent maintence was done in May 2011 which inlcuded:
- new sparkplugs
- new sparkplug wires
- new fuel filter
- new clutch
- new pulley tensioner with new belt
- oil change
- Have whole folder of receipts to show / give to the next owner
Mods:
- Rokkor coilovers
- 17 inch Axis Apex rims (not included in sale, but can be negotiated in)
- Pioneer double din deck X-710 (not included in sale, but can be negotiated)
- High performance cams (forgot which brand, sounds much throatier and power all the way to redline instead of tapering off at 5000rpm)
Things wrong with the car:
- Small hairline crack in oil pan, so leaking oil from crack
- small hairline crack in upper raidator, so leaks coolant from the top and drips down
- clutch shuttering, did not re-machine or replace the flywheel when replacing clutch
- Passenger door does not lock
- GLove box hinge broken
- Cracked windshield (can be replaced if buyer wants me to as im in the industry)
- Timing chain has not been replaced since I have owned the car. Maybe previous owner did but he did not tell me

Price: really not sure what to ask for as it has high kms and a few problems soo lets start at $4500 obo? Only thing parting is rims and deck, thats it.
