Congrats! Welcome to the V8 S4 Avant club! I thought my 08 with 96K km's was low mileage but yours is amazingly low. Should have lots of life in her, just remember to stay on top of the oil changes!.

They are road versions of rally cars, with a rear drive and mid rear engine configuration, the originals were homologation units. They could do 0-100 in 6.9 seconds (early 80s hatchback) and only 3600 were made in total. The prices are getting pretty insane though.

Ahhh ok. I guess it's probably worth something to an enthusiast of that type of car.

Why are they worth so much money? Is it more of the history of them or what? It honestly just looks like a good condition golf with some fat body trim pieces...It's not even awd?
