  • FS: Blue Lagoon GLI

alright boys and girls first off i want to clear the air before the thread get cluttered, yes i did just buy the car it was kind of an impulse buy but the plan was to build it from the ground up how i wanted, i have decided to get into something different, but the GLI needs to go before i can pull the trigger, that being said i am in no real rush to sell and if it does not sell i will start the process of turning it into the car i want.

a little history on the car, technically speaking i am the 3rd owner however the first 2 are family, the car has been maintained at either a VW dealership or VW specialist all of its life, always run synthetic fluids and if anything needed to be address it was, I have a binder full of maintenance receipts for the car, the general condition along with the history is what lead me to buying it. the car started its life in BC and moved with its owner to Toronto, once it got there it was never winter driven and on top of that the car was undercoated every year (receipts to prove this are available). this car is clean, in fact CAW did the OOP on it and im sure they can attest to the cleanliness of the car and the under body.

    about the car:

    2004.5 Lagoon Blue Jetta GLI
141,000KM - these will be going up as i am daily driving the car now

    factory options:
    GLI aero Kit
1.8T AWP motor mated to a 6 spd O2M Transmission
    sport suspension
    sunroof
Recaro Seats - these are like new, none of the usual bolster tear and sag.
    Aluminum Trim/pedal set
    Black pillars and headliner
    larger brakes F: 312x25 and R: 256x22
I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff

    aftermarket:
    3" Unitronic DP
    2.5" Magnaflow cat back
    Unitronic stage 2 flash
    AEM CAI
    FastCo Wheel 18x8

    Recent maintenance:
Oil change at 140K with Rotela T6 and OEM filter
Valve cover gasket replaced with new half moon seal
    O2M Shim update done
    brakes
Timing belt and Water pump taken care of by PO (receipt on hand)

the car could use new control arm Bushings ($26 a piece) i was planing to do this when i install suspension

considering the condition of the car, the history on hand and how hard these are to find the car is priced at $11,000, if you think im way offside with the price feel free to PM me and we can discuss it.
