    did you guys end up hacking up the front bumper for the FMIC i'm gonna guess no since the jettas have like 2" more room up there..

      The rims looks sooo much sweeter. Just have to wait for the springs to settle. The new rubber on the front wheels are making this weird woam noise... too much tread possibly.

      The FMIC made the Upper RPMs alot stronger. Im not sure if the tiptronic tranny gets even hotter then the regular 5spd tranny's but the car is noticeably faster. I didnt think it was gonna be much but it made a HUGE difference.

        nah qua its the rubber.. i have the 712s too and they have about oohh 18000km on them now and they are starting to get noisy and bug the shiz outta me but i can live with it i guess.. my noise is woam woam waom too LOL

        post up some pics in the gallery of the stuff should look great

          Really there is less room up there then Dale thought. He only went trough a couple grinding disks chopping it up though. As for my car it is looking a bit meaner, not sure if I like the badgeless grill yet but if I don't like it Alex can buy it

              YAY.....I love it....Thanks again to Brent for the space and tools, and to Dale for doing such a one up job of parting out his baby! Sorry I had to leave on you guys before you got it all back together! Anyhow, I caved on the CAI, I wanted a cleaner engine bay look, and that it does, its actually quieter than my eurosport cool flo.....And the 006 is in aswell, but I haven't been able to get it to chirp, either way in it makes the same noise, so maybe its the shim Dale put in?? Either way its fantastic (and the 006 is frickin huge!)

                check other thread i'll pass i found that i'll rub on it without spacers and well i don't want to get those so.. you'll sell it don't worry

                    buy better tires LOL thats seriously about it.. all performance rubber gets noisy after a while some worse than others you just have to live with it.. but now drive you car around with them on compared to 17s with allseasons and feel the difference hardcore
