Hrm, I need one of these but does it only pulg into the disc-changer slot in the back? Can I hook it up directly to the HU?

Please lemme know cause if it hooks into the back of the HU Ill take if off your hands

To be honest, I'm not sure!

This was designed to plug into the 12-pin rectangle connector that's in the trunk. If there is another connector like this coming of of the head unit (maybe for a single CD changer?) then I'd guess it will work. Lemme check...

Someone has to do this and put a turntable in the trunk. That would be old school!

You can adapt the cable to plug into the back of the headunit, the plug in the back is just a long extension to the plug that goes into the deck.

As long as your HU has changer capabilities, there is a dedicated connector in the back of the HU. You'd have to check it first though (ie.slide out the headunit and see what's back there!)

There's a 12-pin connector for the cd changer (which this plugs into) and an 8-pin connector for the in-dash CD player...

Well Im using the monsoon double-din deck so im pretty sure it has changer capability

sounds great. I used it for a while with my wife's portable mp3 player, and thought it sounded just fine (ie. no signal degradation). I used it for listening to some movies on a portable DVD player, and it sounded sweet!

j'aime ta femme -- you've definitely got first dibs. I'll be in Calgary this Friday for a week (wedding on saturday) but I can meet up with you anytime. I'm slightly limited transportation-wise, but I'll be in the NW close to the university if that's anywhere near you!

My heat unit has a rectangular 12-pin connector on the back of it. You might want to pull out your double-din one just to make sure! Send me a PM...

Cool - Mike I've got to come pick up that extra DD you have in your garage to test this bad-boy out. Flanders, Ill PM you my number and we'll figure out when to meet..During the day works best for me because I work in the north not too far from the university but live deep south

James- keep in mind that we don't have the code for that HU so we will likely have to pop by the stealership... I should do that anyway to find out what that speaker is going to cost me if I can't get it warrantied.
