  • FS: Framed Butterflies - Great Xmas Gifts

    Hey Gang,
I figued I would let you know about my framed insects I sell.

They are $50.00 each for friends & family which you all are. Shipping would be at your expense, unless you are in Calgary, where I would be willing to deliver for free.

These are high quality framed insect that I retail for $85.00 each, and have seen upwards of $100.00 in some malls.

All these insects are mounted by myself, a professional entomologist, and then framed with mattes & dust jacket on the back.

You can check them out here www.livingcolours.ca or contact me at sales@livingcolours.ca

All my insects are collected in a manner that is environmentally sustainable & are not endangered in any manner.

That is odd that it has not been working, maybe I have exceeded my transfer limit. I will look into it. At any rate, if anyone is interested I can send some pics via email.

I will also host it to some other webspace when I get a minute tonight.

Try it again, I made some adjustments & it seems to be working for me here. I also tried it in Mozilla & it is working fine from there.

Re: FS: Framed Butterflies - Great Xmas Gifts

Worked fine for me - I'm interested in a nice dark blue swallowtail with black matte. I'm assuming there's only one company selling them in the malls.

Is the cover glass/plexiglass or a more fragile covering?

                  Thx!

I have not seen the company selling them in the malls lately, & personally I found thier stuff to be overpriced & of poor quality.

Mine are framed under glass which I prefer since it does not scratch as easily. They are somewhat fragile but are pretty sturdy. I dropped one out of the back seat of my car onto the driveway & it was fine. I have also shipped them via mail to Toronto & Vancouver & they arrived unscathed.

By the way there is no tax on these. $50.00 straight up.

Shoot me an email or PM if you want the Swallowtail for sure. That one is my personal fave.

Thanks - looks great! Wife thought it was pretty so she's getting it for a present. Very nicely framed too!
