Need an oil pan for a mkiv tdi. Put a hole in mine while doing an engine swap.

Bought one new 3 months ago. It was $80..... Note, you need something special to get the bolts in and out next to the gearbox.Comment

Yeah those two bolts are a nightmare to get out. Have the tool, but had a time where the tool wouldn't work due to somebody trying before me to get these out and stripping them.Originally posted by Red90 View Post
Used a 10 MM 1/4 socket with a wobble extension that was small enough and with enough angle to get these out in a few mins. Another thing that probably would work would be a 1/4 10 mm with a built in flex, like this one...

Just have to put all the intake pipes on, valve cover and set the timing etc. A good days worth of work but need to heat the garage up first
