the egt sensor broke the ecu? is that common when they fail?

EGT's went... but you can have them coded out by certain tuners, so instead of paying another $700 to replace them Im paying 1k and getting new software which codes them out. I replaced them just over a year ago... So Im getting another ECU so I can sell my fueling kit as a whole.

switching to VAST or other? I had mine coded out earlier this summer, along with rear o2's...not much to worry about now lol.

Yeah, I think its easier to change software then pay another $700 for EGT's again.
