I called there a few time (no answer) and left messages (1st one to call me back, 2nd one with my info, and why I was pulling out). Since I recieved no replies from them, and nobody ever answers the phone there I put a stop-payment on my cheque just in case! So no, I am most definitely not entered. My damage is all fixed now, but I still need a new front bumper, and there is no way that will happen in time for the show.

Thanks for the clarification. That's too bad Mike. I love your car and was really looking forward to seeing it all shined up and on display.

It's made even more dissapointing that your not entering when I have to come home to this mess everyday............

No problem Blair. It's acutally alot of fun most of the time tooling around with the cars. Just not when you have to do it at during nights and in crappy weather.

To make things more complicated, someone tried stealing the VW emblem off of Ozzie's trunk (sometime over the weekend). The rubber seal around the emblem now has small gashes in it, and the trunk lid has a small indentation where they used a screwdriver or something to try and leverage it off. .......muthafruckas

How is it possible that so many people could have such bad luck all at the same time?? I'm confused.....I could leave my car every night in the hood, and not have a single thing happen to it....

guess what, i have my luck to add:

today i went to pickup my rear bumper, so stood it up by my car, went to fold the seats down, and it fell over on my car magically, and scratched my door...

OK, here's yet another one to add.......I was carrying some big-assed boxes through my garage (with Ozzies car parked in it) and I accidentally broke his freakin' passenger side mirror off Fortunately, I was able to use windshield adhesive to "temporarily" fix it for WoW. Luckily the way it broke you can't even tell where the break occured. Honestly, when I broke it off though I busted out laughing. At this point, nothing will even surprise me anymore.

Edit: I dropped it off at Rudy's Auto today, so at least it will be out of my life for a few days
