    Hey guys,
A friend of mine is looking at buying a 1999 323i. Anybody have any info/experience/opinions on them.

It looks like he can get it for about 10,000 which seems suspiciously cheap compared to most of the ones I've seen on-line.

    Thanx.

Yeah i would be worried if its that cheap. Iv been keeping my eye on the market for quite a while seeing if any good deals pop up. Most 1997-1998 323is with 145- 170km are going for 14-16. So i 99 (i believe thats even the newer style. should be around 18g if i were to guess.

$10,000 for a 1999 323i.... seems fairly low, and there usually is a reason for that.
How many kilometers does it have?? How many owners?? Any accidents???

        Features you should look for:
        Cruise Control
Heated front seats (For Winter, nice warm seats)
Fog Lights (Nice to have, I think anyways)
        Trip computer

Traction Control, and ABS are a must, but these are standard options.

I drive a 99 323i, love the car but needs more power!!

Yeah, talking to him again, it sounds like the car has been painted, so its sounding more and more like it was in a pretty good collision. I think the odometer is at around 160K or so, supposedly only one owner (its in the used car lot of a non-BMW dealership).

Most of the examples I found on autotrader.ca are in the $15K-$17K range.

Speaking of deals that are way to good to be true:

Dont mean to derail thread, I just thought this was ridiculous when I saw it.
