Picking up an M Coupe

Anyone in here own an M Coupe? I'm gettin the 1999 S52 next week! If anyone here has FIRST HAND experience with one let me know what you think of em.

Buy it they are rare, it has the same motor as e36 M3 240hp but the car weights 2800lbs vs 3400lbs the 1/4 time is mid 13s that car is a rocket. Let me know if you want to supercharged it 350hp, 0-60 in a neck braking 4.7s 1/4 will be high to mid 12s. Mantenience is the same as M3s look out for brakes they warp easilly.

OH MAN!!!!

I was just in the process of looking at getting one too!!!! They are absolutely beautiful cars. I had my eye on one on ebay, but never got it. There is another one in Cali I still have my eyes on. I know Europe got the nicer engine, and as Velocity mentioned, North America got the 240hp M3 engine..... which is still very nice!

I definately dig those cars one of my fav's, I'd love too get my hands one one someday. Though the Z4 M coupe with the S54 in it would be mighty tempting.

how much are these now, i heard they have come down considerably in price. i am looking to get one of those for the stable in a year or 2 and throw a turbo on it. muah hahahaha

They are only a fraction more than a well kept E30 M3 . for comparison.

Well I own it now, and all I can say is... HOLY SH!T!!! This car handles like a dream and is VERY quick. I have totally made the right decision in buying this.
