Hi everyone.

I've recently purchased a 05 Avant 3.0, black. I'm new to owning an Audi and I'm interested in some new wheels from Bob. I'm looking at Axis Super Hiro,Matrix or Tenzo Type M, suggestions? I really do like the Penta but I'm not sure they will work?

What size wheel tire combo is recomended?

Also considering an exhaust of some type.

Since you asked... please stay away from Tenzo.. or any other asian cheap wheel. You have a beautiful car, and the right (proper) wheels will only increase that.. while cheaper wheels show quite easily. Some of the Axis wheels arent bad at all.. .but please.. not Tenzo!

Actually!! There is a set of R8 replicas on Craigslist for $680.. they would be great!

I have a 2002 B6 A4 and i use 235/40 18, 32 mm offset. works great. Just my opinion but replicas are boring. Putting a higher model cars wheels on is ok but i think you can do better. Decide if you are going for a smooth classy look, a racy sporty look, or dark and stealthy look. Most important is don't rush, wheels can make a car. I am sure i am not the only guy who has looked at hundreds of wheels before i decided and found some that were available and affordable. Have fun and welcome.

I agree on the poor quality comment, I'd rather a higher quality wheel but being new to cars I'm not sure what options I have. I'm thinking the smooth classy and the dark/stealthy look is what I prefer. I do like the replicas but...

Throw out some options...I'm an older more conservative driver.

Exhaust?

axis should/would fit fine.. tirebob should be able to help you there

exhaust on a 3.0 avant.. hrmm probably milltek.. i don't think apr or awe makes 3.0 exhaust to my knowledge anyways

go custom magnaflow for the exhaust. i have 2 14851's that i would be willing to part with? definately the most popular custom route

They look pretty close to the real deal from what I can see, for sure reps though as those R8 wheels don't come in 18s. Good price too, someone should pick them up for sure!

Welcome to the boards and just search around for the wheel style that really grabs your attention and go for it, as for exhaust it's pretty much the same snoop around here and other forums for the look you want, run a search to see if other owners are happy, listen to some sound clips on you tube and make your decision that way.
