But the B7 was only a trasitionary car, as the B6 was the epitome of the early Audi style. Then B7 comes along at the same time they release the Veyron and newer styled VWs to set the brand's new 'look,' then it evolves with a new chassis that suits the new look better as a whole.
Myself, I prefer the C3 (?) style RS6, the one from '03, in an Avant as an RS6+... being, until the new RS6 is launched, the most powerful production Audi. Well, that exterior, but to me everything else on the new car is an improvement.
yea i know the b7 was just there to help the style changes.. my fav's are still the b6 tho.. but oddly i love my B5 s4.. a b5 a4 has a totally different look i think due to the higher stance and lack of skirts, etc
its strange thoe , because even tho it was only out for 3 years there is three times the after market support for the b7 powertrain . ( from what i have run into sourcing go fast parts ) i mean 6 companies make upgraded turbo kits already . and growing . there is barely 6 options for the b6 (bolt ons here)
What makes that most interesting to me is that it's a new powerplant too. Or did they just stroke the 1.8t with a TDI crank? Which would make the bolt-ons redundant save for the 1.8t --> 2.0t label.
