Are run flats a better performance tire, then a non run flat.

i don't think so.. if i remember right you sacrifice some stuff using runflats but this could be wrong

I thought run flats were heavier because of the reinforcing?

Ya i have always heard you sacrifice performance when it comes to run flats.

They're harder, noisier and less responsive compared to traditional. And more expensive.

I think there's a top/5th gear about this but I could be mistaken...

Also, I read an in-depth write up where Road & Track tested both on a 3-series in Nevada. They found that they generally disliked the runflats all-around.

It looks like il be getting the new R1R by toyo or PS2 .. I cant wait to get rid of the run flats
