B5 s4 - sds

i know that there have been a few 2.7 vr6's running the SDS . i don't know of any in Calgary, or even Canada. I was wondering if any of you have seen any? because i'm probably going to go that route, maybe.

i'm having a hard time sitting still.. even though the car is already quick .

anyone heard of or seen a b5 s4 with an sds?

Im not sure a full standalone would be worthwhile... I would settle for Lemmi-tweaks for now, then if you choose to go GT's use SDS then.

i like the challenge

i have 2 gt25r's sitting in red deer waiting for me .

i'd like to initially have a controllable tuning solution . i work for SDS so i'm not afraid to install it

i'd like to know if anyone else with a vr6 is running the sds on here? i saw a few i-4's with it at the autohaus car show .

If its just for fun I'd say go for it then... you should be able to see some gains over the stock APR software, as well fully utilize the Meth injection.

I think taking stock GT25r's and making them fit is creating a lot more work then it needs to be.. (ex. Inlets, Y-pipe, DP's, clocking, fitting, misc piping etc) especially when TIAL and ATP have suitable bolt on's in the GT variety.

I think he was just using SDS on a VR6 as an example of SDS on a 6 cylinder car.

sds is a dinosaur. it was "good" when there wasn't any other cost-effective option for VAG cars. now there are MANY stand-alone options available that run circles around sds. motec, 034efi, vipec, to name a few.

why standalone though?? there are plenty of set-ups out there that use the factory motronic management with GREAT results.

i'll be using SDS because they are one of my clients and i write code for the new sds.

i did mention the vr6 as an example if it's been used on vw 6 cylinders

eldo, what other solutions allow me to modify the tune? ideally i'd like to keep the stock computer

Lemmiwinks is the only publically available and free solution that you can use to modify your current code.. may not have enough parameters for what you had in mind, but allows a far bit of movement.
