How long is the install on that? I might be interested when I come to calgary. the TIP on my allroad is a bit sluggish. if you qualify a bit as something the size of a housing complex.

also what kind of cost is associated?

A lot of the S4/A6 guys here have gotten a VAST TIP chip from me, and in the cars I've driven that had it, it made quite a noticeable difference. The driver has much more control and the shifts are crisper and cleaner.

Anyone here using a tip chip?

So quick rundown: I'm running a setup that's probably making 250-275 HP. I have a tip tranny w an upgraded ITP torque converter. Now, under full throttle I can feel a delay in the tranny internals hooking up. It's not an RPM flare, but it's like a slight loss of power (RPM's are still rising) and then back to full power.

Long story short. In the interest of prolonging the life of my clutch packs I'm considering adding a tip chip to the mix. Who here has tried one, and was the difference that noticeable. I just don't want to dump the cash into a product that only offers a marginal improvement.
Working...
