I see you missed the irony in my joke. Regardless of what the Ford Focus is like in other countries, around here they're not known for being extremely fast cars. People that don't know any better certainly wouldn't expect much from the Focus, but your car proves that there are a few things that they don't know about what the SVT can do

yah, the svt is magical. i wish it caught on better so that ford would consider bringing more of the uk cars over. but they bastardized the focus name so badly, that no one would pay $35k for a focus... they didn't say what the differences between the SVT and the north american focus was. so it floppppped :(

there honestly isn't a north american car that i like. i've tried to listen to dodge owners. i've tried to listen to mustang owners. i've even tried liking japanese stuff. maybe it is sometimes the ppl that turn me off?

but i'm 100% certain that it's mostly quality that turns me off

okay i lied. i said the only thing i had left to do was vipec...

i have a divorced wastegate pipe. and the vibration from it has started to crack my exhaust manifold :( ... so last night i took a look and i have a crack around the whole weld. boooo!!!!!!

we do it at lightspeed. take a look at my intake plumbing, that's all custom aluminum welded and cut .. u gotta come up next weekend!

i had originally built a bracket for the divorced pipe.. but i took the bracket off when i was doing some work on the car. stupid me. i got 3 years out of that header i hope i can weld it without it looking like crap lol . i'd like to get a few more years!

and this is the where the crack is... i'm not making more then 7 psi of boost until 4,000 rpm cause all the exhaust is leaking out. the big crack is on the inside of that pipe, but i can't get my camera in there

lol, it's becuase when i hear someone talk about building, designing race cars and engines and such... it's unreal the stuff i see come out of there. i am rarely impressed with any bolt-ons sold/installed by tunerworks and the like.
